How do I set my profile to private – and what is still visible then?

You decide whether your profile is public or private when you complete your profile. It works similarly to Instagram.

Here's how

1. Open the Crews tab at the bottom of the app. As long as you haven't been active there yet, you'll see “Complete your profile”.
2. There you can enter or edit: Homebase (district/region), gender, profile photo, “Fun Facts” and additional pictures.
3. In the last step, you choose whether your profile should be public or private.

What the difference means

• Private: Your name and photo remain visible and your profile can be found. However, anyone who isn't friends with you will only see “This profile is private” – no content.
• Public: All users can see your profile content.

What friends (or, for public profiles, everyone) can see: when you train, your stats, your shared Feelgood Pace and similar things. Not visible is where you'll start running – the starting location of your training sessions is never public.
