Paces & zones
The Feelgood Pace is the speed you'd just head out and run at comfortably. It forms the centre of Zone 1 – all other zones hang off it. You enter it in onboarding; later, Trait can adjust it based on your runs.
The Feelgood Pace is the speed you'd comfortably set off at without thinking about it – not your race pace, not your crawl pace, but the one that simply feels good. Beginners are usually around 7:30/km.
For Trait, it's the most important reference point for your paces: it defines the centre of Zone 1 ("Easy"), and all other zones are derived from it. You'll find an overview of the zones under What do the training zones mean?
You'll find it on the Stats page. There, tap the small pencil icon next to the Feelgood Pace. Important: you can't type in a single value; instead you choose faster or slower paces – all zones shift together. More on this under How can I adjust my paces manually?
Tip: Adjust the Feelgood Pace when your easy sessions (Zone 1–2) are clearly too fast or too slow. For the fast zones, the Assessment Run is the right tool.
